Prog Extravaganza - Swan and Heron stages
These stages will alternate and give you a full prog experience!
Noddy's Puncture ... E.L.P Tribute
THE tribute to Emerson, Lake and Palmer, endorsed by Keith Emerson - indeed Keith used some of their keyboards at the final UK E.L.P. appearance at High Voltage. This is as authentic as you can get, complete with modular Moog! Expect most of the triple live "Welcome Back..." album and much more.
Stretching festival norms, at NVRF Noddy's Puncture will play two sets on one stage with Skylines playing in between on the other.

PS - Video 2 is probably the best pub video you'll ever see!
Skylines ... Camel tribute
Skylines is an exciting new band playing the music of the legendary progressive rock band, Camel. The 2023 shows will feature excerpts from Camel’s classic The Snow Goose, Camel’s best known and loved album, an eclectic mixture of rock, jazz rock, and classical. They will also feature top tracks from Camel’s classic albums such as Breathless, Rain Dances and many more. The band includes notable musicians who have worked with various high-profile musicians over the years as well as in their own bands.
Progfathers ... Prog covers
Bringing together some of the UK’s most accomplished tribute and session musicians, experienced in many genres, but all with a passion for Prog. Presented with a flair that's characteristic of the style, Progfathers perform the work of Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, and more... a celebration of the Fathers of British Prog, all delivered with precise musicianship and attention to detail!!
Thursday
Rock Extravaganza - Kingfisher stage
Just rock - for those that don't like prog!
Leaf Hound
Leaf Hound is an English hard rock band that formed from blues rock band Black Cat Bones in 1970, frequently cited as pioneers of heavy metal, hard rock, psychedelic rock and stoner rock. 1971 debut album ‘Growers of Mushroom’ reflects that and gained cult status – copies can be worth a fortune! After a long hiatus vocalist Peter French (Atomic Rooster) formed a new band and they recorded ‘Unleashed’. Leaf Hound gigs are as rare as Roosters’ teeth – we are excited to have them headline for NVRF!
Häxan
UK powerhouse rock trio Häxan hail from South Wales and South West England. Playing shows and festivals worldwide, including Download, Monsters of Rock Cruise (Miami), and Rock the Boat (Australia), their live show is always packed with raw energy. They have played alongside Status Quo, Foreigner, Electric Six and many more. Citing influences such as Black Sabbath, Suzi Quatro, and The Darkness, Häxan is made up of Sam Bolderson (vocals/guitar), Harriet Wadeson (bass) and Jess Hartley (drums).
Daxx & Roxane
Hailing originally from Switzerland, Daxx & Roxane is a ticking time bomb of raw Rock'n’Roll power and groovy riffs! Citing Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Mötley Crüe as key influences, it’s no wonder that Kerrang! Magazine has hailed them as “tooth-and-nail, testosterone-powered rock.”. Their philosophy “Rock ’n’ Roll is all about energy and creating an adrenaline rush” is reflected in their intense live shows.
Derecho
“An original take on gothic-tinged, emotional rock. Frontwoman and songwriter Jo Ash is a gift to the genre, with a voice that soars and swoops through the rolling thunderclouds”. So said The Musician in November 2019 when they reviewed Derecho’s album ‘Beneath A Stained Glass Sky’, and you’ll hear a few echoes of Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux and Evanescence in the band’s original music.
